it's a great concern for parents, that's for sure. I'm really afraid of such a teacher, especially because I know that for me teachers played a huge role in whether I liked a subject and whether I thought I could be good at it.
Certainly I had such a perception about physics being impossible to understand because of a teacher who taught it incorrectly and incoherently.
