Elections and demographics

Ok, can somebody explain to me why Obama has the majority of educated voters on his side? I see why all the young voters are drawn to him. I understand why all the black voters are supporting him. But I guess I am not educated enough to see his appeal to the educated voters, who seem to be flocking to him in large numbers. What gives?
